The City of Boynton Beach is the third largest municipality in Palm Beach County with an estimated population of approximately 70,000 residents. Public Art

Boynton Beach is also well known for its dedication to the arts. The Art in Public Places mission is “to create a stimulating cultural environment that reflects and enhances Boynton Beach’s heritage, diversity and character.”  The Program strives to include works of art in new developments, enhancing public spaces and incentivizing the creation of new landmarks for generations to come.

Boynton Beach’s public schools offer competitive and state-of-the-art learning environment for students of all ages. The public school system includes choice schools with specialized educational programs enabling students to take advantage of innovative teaching techniques that focus on the student’s individual talents or interests, including art, science, technology and languages. Boynton Beach’s Galaxy Elementary E3 School, the first Platinum LEED green school in the state, is the newest choice school in Palm Beach County, featuring a state-of-the-art, sustainably designed campus with an educational focus on energy, environment and engineering – E3 for short.  In addition to public schools, there are four private schools in Boynton Beach that offer nationally recognized Montessori programs and religious programs.
